The Connection: As the featured saxophonist and a longtime member of the Chuck Lambert Band, Eric Salkin is the architect behind the group’s soulful melodic layers. In addition to his role in the full ensemble, he often performs in a more intimate capacity as half of the "Chuck & Eric" duo.

The Local Beat: A pillar of the Jersey Shore jazz and blues community, Eric’s presence on the saxophone has been felt across the region’s most iconic stages for decades. From legendary Asbury Park clubs to premier coastal festivals, his reputation for versatility has made him a fundamental figure in the area’s rich musical history.​

The Music: Eric Salkin fell in love with the saxophone at 8 years old and played his first club date at 13. Since then, he has performed everything from "Bach to Hip Hop" as well as doing studio work on several CDs and is currently excited to be performing jazz and blues with the Hall of Famer Chuck Lambert and his band.
